I reached out to my ex and explained that I needed ₦200,000 to pay my fees, and he sent it without hesitation. Since then, he has continued to sponsor my education until I graduate. Now, he is financially stable, but whenever I bring up the possibility of getting back together, he refuses to discuss it. He continues to support my education but shows no interest in my love life or whom I date. This hurts because I still have feelings for him, and sometimes I feel guilty accepting his money. I appreciate everything he has done, but I don’t understand why he continues to support me while keeping his emotional distance. I wonder whether he has completely moved on or simply wants to help me succeed without being romantically involved.
