Boyfriend’s Hygiene Issues

My boyfriend of 3 years doesn’t bathe every day. We live close, so sometimes we spend weeks together. I’ve been with him for two weeks now, and trust me, he doesn’t bathe daily. I’ve been keeping an eye. If I ask him, it’s mostly at night because I like to give him time to bathe, but when I don’t see any sign, I ask, “Did you bathe today?” He usually says yes, but like, when exactly? Because I know he didn’t. He always sees me bathing in the morning, and even after I finish cooking, I bathe 2–3 times a day, but this guy’s body barely touches water. Once he wakes up, he goes straight to the bathroom, not to shower, but to sit there for hours passing stool and scrolling on his phone, “meditating.” Sometimes he just washes his face and brushes his teeth, sprays some perfume, and starts his day. I’m 100% sure he didn’t actually bathe. I’ve had to tell him to clean up after urinating, and I’m convinced he only does it when I’m watching. If I’m not around, he just pees and pulls his penis inside his boxers.

I don’t know if it’s laziness or what. The funny part? You’d never guess he’s this dirty. He keeps his space neat, has great skin, and is actually handsome. If someone sees him outside, they’d never suspect. Sometimes he forgets to brush all day, and only when I joke about his breath will he finally go brush. When I ask if he’s bathed or brushed, he gets defensive and asks, “What do you mean?” He’s quick to want oral s€x, but sometimes I’m too irritated to even go down on him because, come on, he didn’t even clean himself! I always make sure I’m clean before anything, but he expects me to go down on a stinky penis? And he’ll even compliment me, say, “You’re so clean,” and eats me like his life depends on it. I don’t get it. Why can’t a grown man take care of himself? Sometimes before we have s€x, I’ll ask him to clean up first, and he takes offence. He thinks he’s clean, but he’s only clean on the outside. I know some men expect women to stay exactly the same as when they met us.

They think that’s why they were attracted, but come on, guys need to do better too. Thinking you’re handsome and can bag any girl doesn’t mean you should stop taking care of yourself. And no, it’s not about money; he can afford it. The funniest part? He genuinely doesn’t see this as a problem. In his eyes, he’s the cleanest and most handsome guy ever because once he bathes and dresses up, OMO TAN!! Shuuuu.
