So, around 2024, I was told I have fibroid, but the doctor told me then that it was just tiny and there was no cause for alarm, but I should try and give birth soon. As at then, I was 28 years old, but I didn’t have a boyfriend that year. Fast forward to November 2025, I met a guy on IG. When we met in person, I liked him, and we started dating. He doesn’t give me money or go on a date. I didn’t ask either because I don’t really care about all that. He said he has a house that is not furnished yet in Abeokuta but stays in his parents’ house in Lagos till he finishes his house. We do meet in a lodge. One day, he said, “Let’s go to the house in Abk together to know there,” but when we got to Abk, it was late, so we lodged. The next morning that we were supposed to go to the house, he got angry because I refused him s€x that morning. Then he said he received a business call and that we should be going to Lagos. A lot happened within the period that we were dating, and our major issue was about s€x. We planned to get married, but he said if I can’t have s€x 5 times a week, we can’t marry.
At the beginning, everything was sweet and all, so I thought I had seen the man of my dreams. February this year, I went for a test and I was told I am pregnant, so I told him, and what this guy told me is that he has moved on, that shebi I quit the relationship because I can’t do what he wants concerning s€x, whereas I didn’t even quit. He was just trying to manipulate me. Now, I don’t even know what to do. I told his sister that I know. She said her brother said he has moved on. I can’t tell my family that I am pregnant. They will send me out, and I don’t have anywhere to go. I don’t think I am emotionally and mentally ready to become a single mother. I want to get rid of this pregnancy and move on with my life. Now, I am 30 years old with the fibroid that has grown a little bit from that year, 2024, till 2026. I sent someone to help me talk to him. He told the person he doesn’t have money to get an apartment for me, that he can only be giving me N20k every month, and when the child is 5 years or 6, he will come and take the child from me.
