I just read the story of the 23-year-old that’s staying with a cheating partner and saying he’s a father figure. What went wrong? Where are your parents? I’m not judging you, but let’s move from you. Some relationships shouldn’t have gotten to relationships in the first place. Some relationships shouldn’t have gotten to marriage in the first place. You saw it, and you knewwwww, but your mind was clouded, and as money too don enter nau. What about other people that stay with partners that beat them??? Just because they are not working or they don’t have any value to offer outside of their marital life? Or boyfriends give you infection, but you still choose to stay because of money??? What went wrong, you guys? I know some parents give black tax (story for another day, because some parents ehn). Immediately I finished my final paper in the university, my parents started billing me. I ran away from home because if I start to carry some responsibilities wey dey wan push, I go too crumble. Maybe that’s the case for some people too, but how about seeing yourself beyond your current state?
Your value isn’t in accepting and sucking in bullshits. Are you not scared of your life? Our parents fit don make their own mistakes ooo, but what about us? What about you? Are we not going to make a better life for our children? Imagine your child knowing that Daddy always beats Mummy. Imagine a child knowing that Mummy doesn’t have a job, na just film, Zee World she dey use her life watch, always collecting money from Daddy, and it’s only to cook she knows. Asides your child, relationship keeps treating infections like you’re eating lunch. Are you not tired? Is this the life you want? Can anything come out of Nazareth? Yes ooo, na you just dey look down on yourself ooo. Go learn something, do something for yourself too. And if you’re already in any bullshit, plan yourself ooo and commot abeg. And will there always be better?? Yes, baby girl. It’s appalling, honestly, and really painful that some of us have to go through these things, and not everybody knows how to handle them.
