My relationship of about 8 years ended over a year ago, my ex ended things out of the blue after a million and one promises of us being together. I was so in love with this guy that there was nothing I couldn’t do. He said he didn’t have a future with me in it and intentionally wasted my time. I have since moved past it, but every time I see people in love or getting married online, I mourn the version of our future I had painted in my mind. If only he didn’t lead me on, I would have had my happy ending with someone else. If only I could go back in time.
