I got pregnant when I was in my final year, that was seven years ago. My boyfriend accepted it, which is my baby dad now. During that period, I got really sick to the point that I could not even write my final paper. Aside that, we have been staying together since then. He started doing all this online stuff and was seeing a lot of money. He started cheating, although he takes care of me and my daughter, but he did not take advice that would benefit our future, like building a house. No, he just loves to change his car. So for the past two years now, things have been different. The client is not paying well again and he later stopped paying, and he did not have anything doing. I’m the one paying all the bills. I then gave him money to renew his car papers, buy fuel, and all, so he could start Uber, but this guy has not been bringing money home, and I am still the one paying bills. Our house rent was due, and the landlord kept disturbing us for money, and this guy was still expecting me to pay after feeding the house and paying school fees and all.
About one month ago, he carried our generator and said he wanted to go and sell it. I told him he cannot sell it. He said he can sell anything he wants, his car, his land, and all, that it is none of my business and not my money he used to buy it. For the person I have a child for and have been with for the past eight years, he left the house and has been calling everybody that he is done with me and not coming back again. I did not call him once, I just cried that day and faced my business. Now the issue is that I met one man about two months ago, he is in his 40s, and he is ready to marry me. He is very wealthy and popular in my state. My baby dad called me last week saying he left the house because I did not respect him, that he was just angry, and that we should not separate, that I should think about my child. He has been disturbing me that he wants to come back home, meanwhile he is still expecting me to pay for the rent. Now this is where my rant comes in, should I stay with him or just go for this rich man? I am scared my parents will not accept him because they do not want me to have two baby dads.
