I Haven’t Found Love Since I Left My Ex

I’m honestly tired of being single. Since my ex-boyfriend and I broke up, I haven’t found love again. We were together for five years. I had been with him since I was about 18 years old, and I left because of domestic viol*nce. Now, he’s already in a serious relationship, and his girlfriend is someone I even know, my ex-friend. I’m 25, and I’ll be 26 this July. I’ve been single for two years, and sometimes it feels like love comes easily for men, but for women, it takes so long. Most men who come into my life only want s€x, not commitment. They are all in serious relationships. My body count is 8. Once we have s€x, I leave them. I’ve hooked up twice before, but I stopped because that’s not the life I want for myself. Please don’t judge me. I only did it because I needed money for my school practicals. The money my parents give me is not always enough, sometimes ₦2,000 or ₦5,000. A friend introduced me to it, and I truly regret it. I’ve even sworn on the Bible that I will never go back to that life.

I was told that hookup girls meet men faster than good girls, and that’s why I tried it, thinking I might find love. But each time I remember it, I feel deep regret. One of the men even messaged me again this year, and I told him clearly that I’m no longer interested. I blocked him, and when he contacted me with another number, I blocked that one too. I’m tired. I have a business, but it’s not doing well yet. I’ll be graduating this year, 2026, which makes me happy, but I still want my own man. I want to experience true love, the kind where two people genuinely love and respect each other. Sometimes it feels like that kind of love may never come for me, and it hurts. I don’t know if this is a good rant or if I just want to disgrace myself. Please, what advice would you give me? Thank you, ma/sir.
