I’m queer, and I’ve been in a three-month long-distance relationship with a very sweet and nice guy. I live in Enugu, and he lives in Abuja. We really love each other, but I don’t know if this feeling will last. We haven’t met before, and I believe he’s the kind of guy who would want to settle down and marry a woman. I don’t know if I’m overthinking this, but I really love him. Sometimes he tells me he wants to be with me for the rest of his life, and other times he asks me if I want to get married and have kids. I’ve told him countless times that I’m not interested in having children or marrying a woman. To be frank, I don’t think we can ever be together unless I leave Enugu and my job to start a life in Abuja or somewhere within one or two hours away. For my fellow queer people, what can I do? Should I let him go or continue and see where this leads? Any advice, please?
