Started talking to my girlfriend some months ago. Her friend, who is also my friend on IG, linked us up while she was visiting. When we shared pictures, I loved it and all, but after some days she said she did not want to call or even see her. I was just chatting and getting to know her, but she thought I wasn’t interested in her. Soon I called, and well she wasn’t all that beautiful to me, but as we kept on talking she became beautiful in my eyes. Omo, how e take happen. Sha, we started talking and I told my friend I’ll love the girl and I’ll date her. She calls and texts, updates me on everything, like literally everything, and most times I’m the one who drops the call because even if we two dey look each other she go dey on that call. E remain small make she physically follow phone comot. Now to the interesting part, I do give this girl weekly allowance of N100k naira (N400k monthly), but I also send her money randomly for nails, making her hair, or buying a random cloth, bag, shoe, or food. I started doing this about a month into the relationship. Now the problem is this girl is asking for house rent and shop rent, that she just finished uni and doesn’t want to stay in her parents’ house to avoid see finish.
Now even if money isn’t the issue, I have lots of things I’m using money for, but still do all I do for her. It’s like she doesn’t listen to all that. It’s not even 5 months yet. I told her to use what she has saved so far. Omo, she never saved anything, or at least that’s what she told me. She became busy all of a sudden and started delaying to call back after missed calls and not texting back, from long messages to one line messages. Now I’ve lost interest in her but I’m not dating anyone. I think if she had said she saved some money but does not want to pay rent with it, then that would have even been a motivation for me to give her. I can’t date someone who can’t save.
