Please, I need opinions. My fiancé and I have been dating for some years, and we got engaged last year. We’ve had a very good relationship, and we are currently planning our wedding. But just recently, I discovered he’s always around new people, and there’s a certain kind of handshake he makes with them. I think it’s NBM or Egede, or whatever they call themselves, that makes such a handshake. I decided to ask him the exact same day I searched about that handshake, and then he opened up to me and told me he’s been a member since last year. Like, he’s a member of people doing cultism. I’ve been so shocked, surprised, and really disappointed. I don’t know what to do. He kept trying to convince me they aren’t bad people and whatnot. I’ve been trying to process it, and I’m saying I’m not sure I want to continue the relationship. I don’t know if I’m overreacting because that’s what he’s making it look like. Please, I need opinions.
