Why does it feel like some kids get all the love while others get barely anything? On my child’s birthday, my baby dad’s sister sent her brother’s child N25k but sent mine only N5k. Even the captions are different. My child’s dad uses gentle captions for her, while for his brother’s child he uses very loving, strong captions. The way they behave towards my child is different. It is not only about what I posted here, but this is the little I can say. My child noticed and asked why her dad’s family seems to dislike her so much, even though she hardly visits while the other child goes there more often. I am not bitter or jealous, just hurt that unfairness like this exists and that my kid is noticing it. How do you explain to a child that they are loved when the world around them says otherwise?
