So there was this guy that I’ve been talking to since 2023. He lives outside Nigeria. We weren’t really dating, but he did tell me he likes me, and I like him back. So this year, January, he came to Nigeria and we met and all. He usually makes lots of videos with me saying he will watch them whenever he misses me if he travels back. He even introduced me to his friends as his babe (even though he hasn’t asked me out). So yesterday, we were talking on Instagram, but as we were talking he stopped replying at some point. So I decided to call him on WhatsApp and he didn’t pick. But he later sent a text saying he was in the club. As he sent the message, I didn’t really reply. When he posted the videos he made in the club, I saw him sitting with a particular girl and the ring I gave to him in his hand wasn’t there. I got pissed and messaged him on IG venting my anger, and I also asked him why he removed the ring. But he didn’t reply me for hours and that’s unlike him.
I even messaged him again on WhatsApp because he was posting. He still wasn’t replying or saying anything. A few hours later, he posted another girl, captioning it with “Mama,” meaning that’s his girlfriend. But this guy never mentioned to me that he has someone. He was just leading me on and I fell for it. I’m very sad and heartbroken. But why would he do something like this to me? I didn’t ever wrong him. He was always telling me he’s scared that my school boys will snatch me from him. He would even want to cry. I sent him a last message and the only thing he replied with was “Hmmm.” So as he just did this thing, I’m so surprised. All the texts I’ve been sending, he hasn’t replied any. I don’t know how I’ll feel. I need advice, my Rantandtalkz family.
