My close friend introduced me to her cousin, who said he liked me a lot. At that time, I wasn’t interested in any man because I had been through a lot of heartbreak and was tired. We started talking, and he kept saying he really wanted a relationship with me. I was trying hard not to fall, but eventually, I did. After a month of talking, we saw each other three times before I finally agreed to date him. Two weeks later, we had sex. Two days before, I noticed he was acting too busy, barely chatting or calling. It got worse after the sex—he could go five days without chatting and a week without calling.
When I asked what was going on, he would say he was busy. I’m confused. I don’t know if I should stay in this relationship or leave because he keeps saying he loves me. We only see each other for sex, and even when we are together, he’s busy on his phone. I check sometimes to see if he’s chatting with someone else, but he’s just working. He barely talks to me, only teasing me for a while before going back to his phone. I like him a lot, but this situation is affecting my mental health and causing me pain. What should I do?
