My friend and I submitted job applications to a particular agency. I submitted mine about a week before she did, but unfortunately for me, my friend was called, and I wasn’t. I was very happy for her, and in between my tears and emotions, I took my time to give her vivid directions to the agency for her interview. I even followed up with her when she got there. After the interview, my friend went on to post on her social media accounts about how her prayers were answered, along with quotes to thank God. I found these posts a bit insensitive because she obviously knows I’m hurting, and she is also my very close friend. I would be more self-aware if the roles were reversed Do you think my feelings are valid?
