I have five roommates plus me, making six. We all live as if we are sisters, and people could hardly tell that we’re not. Some would even ask if we quarrel; the truth is we quarrel most times. So here is my story. Recently, one of my roommates, let’s call her Grace, has this boyfriend who spends on her. Ever since Grace got into that relationship, she has been behaving somehow. She doesn’t clean, she doesn’t do anything, and when you ask her, in fact, before you would say something, she has fired back at you. She talks to anybody the way she likes in the house. Mind you, she’s the youngest in the house. Yesterday, she came back home from her man’s place, and we were cleaning. When she came, I told her to join us.
Before I could even say, “Grace, go and clean the kitchen,” she fired back at me, insulting me and calling me names. Oh, I forgot to tell you she’s pregnant, but not up to a week. I was very pissed and wanted to hit her, but I held back because of the fact that she’s pregnant. I took my phone and chatted with her boyfriend, and the guy was like, “Calm down,” and he called her. The next thing, she came to me and asked why I called her boyfriend. She started raining insults on me. I got angry and gave her the beating of her life. During the process, my phone screen got spoiled, and throughout that day, I didn’t say a word to anybody; I just isolated myself. So after a day, which is today, I was sleeping when she woke me up and said I stole her money.
I was like, “How? When? Are you high?” She started calling me names, saying that just because she has been keeping quiet in the house doesn’t mean she’s a f00l. I still held myself because at the rate I was angry, if I beat her up she might end up in the hospital, and I do not want to do something that I’ll regret later. My story hasn’t finished, but I’m here to ask for advice. What do you think I should do? Rantandtalkz family, do you think I stole the money?
