I just remembered all the seniors in secondary school who were wicked. They ain’t shit right now. I wish I had known back then that I could’ve fought back. I could’ve killed a lot of them and just let them expel me. I wish I had stabbed someone with a fork or twisted someone’s neck. I especially wish I had killed Chide Ameji, that busty Green House girl from Harmony Secondary School, Lokoja. She and her four friends ganged up and beat a girl in my class. And her minion, Joan Anayo—that Green House girl was just a dirty slave to Chide. These people walk amongst us now, like regular humans.
I pity the person who marries them because they are devil incarnates. What annoys me the most is after night prep, when we’d pray, and they’d beat us for not singing, accusing us of playing with their Jesus. They acted as if Jesus was theirs alone. Then they’d slap us during match pass just to show off to the boys that they were the “baddest.” Seniors would get fondled by the boys and then take it out on us. Even Jesus suffered at the hands of Nigerians. May God forgive us.
