Instagram vendors, how are you people coping? I’m nearly running crazy here. Shanumi Olorun! I invested 2 million into my perfume business this 2025 and decided to use N200k to run a sponsored ad on Instagram. The advert will finish in the next few weeks—no single sale! As in, not even one sale! I’m just getting followers. My page is good, my content is good, and my ad targeting is good. I have paused the ads. The amount of people in our line of business is crazy.
As in, this Valentine’s, I’ve been marketing, yet no sales! As of last year, by this time, I would have sold up to 50 Valentine’s packages. But this year, I haven’t even sold five. This is making me very aggressive and angry. At this point, I think 9-5 is the way. I’ve been applying for jobs too, yet no interviews. I’ve been thinking of other businesses to do, but I can’t think of anything. As in, the number of vendors ehh! It’s now more than the number of customers in this business, and the products are not a necessity.
