So, I had a conversation with my boyfriend today, and I felt so disappointed, not gonna lie. He asked me what I would support with if we got married with two kids and he earned less. He made an example, saying he would earn N30k while I earn N200k. My response was that I’d support with N150k and save the rest (50k) because I have a life aside from marriage, and I’m saving towards a particular goal. This guy legit said my N150k is not considered as support, that why would I want to save in that situation. He’s saying I should support with the full amount of money since I earn more than him. So, I’ve been wondering, am I wrong? Is my support of N150k not enough? Please, I need y’all’s opinions on this.
