Guys, please, where’s the best place to get an apartment? I actually work on the island, but I can’t get an apartment here because, one, it’s quite expensive, plus the bad water. Even when you get a place for a million-plus, it’s just like three or more bedrooms flat, and you are just renting a room in it. You share the kitchen, parlor, and stuff. Apart from the millions in rent, you’re still paying for service charges and other expenses every month. I don’t really earn that much, but I need a good place in a good environment that would make it easy for me to go to the island. People say Yaba, but Yaba is just too crowded and busy for me. I just need a place I can get for below ₦1M. I want to start content creating and also cooking, so I need a good space, even if it’s a self-contained room. But they are ₦1M and above. I even tried Surulere; houses there too are mad expensive. The ones below ₦1M are old houses that need enough renovation and are in dirty environments. 🤦🏽♀️ I don’t earn that much, but I really need a good place.
