There’s this friend of mine who comes over to my house to chill and sometimes eat what I make. But whenever she prepares anything, sugar ants infest the food before morning. We’re platonic for now, but I’m worried because it has happened more than once. The second time, I had a pot of another food I made, which was not infested by sugar ants, but the pot of food she made in my house with my ingredients was heavily infested by sugar ants. It’s worrisome because once I see the sugar ants, I can’t eat the food anymore. I trashed the pot of food when it happened the first time, and here I am thinking of trashing another full pot of food, which is a sin. Is it normal for sugar ants to infest certain food, or is this a sign for me to detach from her before we even get intimate?
