I am a university student in 400 level. Our school fees were increased by 200% this session, and I am yet to pay mine. My dad has always taken pride in making provisions for my academics and that of my siblings, but this school fees increase has created a huge leap in his budget. He told me he has only been able to raise about half of the money for my younger sister and myself. The dilemma here is the fact that my boyfriend can afford to pay the N300k balance. He gives me money freely and trusts my judgment. My dad is a proud man with strict and traditional principles and policies; he’d never want to hear about me dating or taking money for school fees from a man. And our exams start next month. Please, any ideas on how to proceed moving forward?
