So, this is my story: things haven’t been going well for me here in Nigeria. Dollar rates are really affecting my business, so I decided to try to leave Nigeria and go to the USA. I have a friend who wants to invite me, and then I can continue life from there. He is only providing the invitation to make my visa applications easier for me to get a USA visa. I also have a boyfriend based in the UK, we’re in a long-distance relationship. I love him, and he loves me too, and there have been no issues so far. I have been 100% loyal to him, and he comes to Nigeria often. He is already talking about marriage.
I have always been the kind of person who is a go-getter and always wants to push myself forward without needing any man’s help. So my question is, should I proceed with my visa and leave Nigeria, or should I stay in Nigeria and continue with my distant relationship with my boyfriend? Because I know if I travel to the USA, he will feel bad and might even end the relationship because I plan not to tell him anything until my visa is approved. What should I do, please?
