I have known my boyfriend for close to 5 years but started dating like three years ago. In terms of making me happy, providing and caring for me as a girlfriend, he’s so good at that. He does it without looking back, even giving me weekly allowance, but he cheats. Even after apologizing, he will still do it over and over again. He has this toxic habit when he’s so angry at me but I do forgive him because I know he’s hot-tempered. He continued this cheating habit till I cheated on him because I couldn’t take it anymore. Not justifying that I cheated because he cheated, just that he couldn’t just stop it. He found out and seized everything he gave me. Mind you, he always does this. After seizing my things, he would return them back and apologize. So because this particular guy came to a burial at my hometown, he saw us exchanging pleasantries and the next thing he did was to break up with me on the spot and asked for his money, his phone and his wig back. I gave all back to him. I had a very committed relationship with this my boyfriend that I had series of abortions for him because I so much love him.
The other guy knows I was dating but he found out the relationship I was in was kinda toxic. So fast forward to when we broke up, because I’ve seen how this other guy loves me and never wanted to leave me, I just decided to start giving it a try but I noticed he’s not a giver. He can stay months without giving me money unless I ask for it. I might go to his place from my far distance, he won’t give me money for tf. He kept doing this repeatedly and it’s beginning to be a concern. Not even a monthly allowance or even a small money for upkeep. I do everything for myself and it’s beginning to give me concern. Now my ex is calling me back every day that he wants us to settle things out. Mind you, the other guy loves me but he doesn’t give me money unless I ask, that’s when he will give. Everybody around me doesn’t like my ex because of his toxic nature and he once slapped me, so I don’t know if it’s a good idea to listen to my ex or continue with the other guy. Please no insult.
