I am 27 years old. My five-year relationship ended because I was treated like a piece of trash—a story I will share some other time. To the main story: I’m an introvert and a business-oriented person. I do about five different jobs. Recently, my neighbors encouraged me to go out, so I linked up with a friend. Two weeks ago, on a Saturday, we went out, and a guy walked up to me, asked for my contact, and we started talking. A few days later, he invited me on a date, where we spoke at length. He dropped me off at home and realized he had been to my house before. He came with a friend two years ago, when I had just moved in, to get goods from me (I work from home). It wasn’t like he knew it was me when he asked for my contact. Fast forward to last Saturday, I went to the same spot with my friends, and he came to meet me there. When he was leaving, I escorted him, and he told me his mind.
This guy is everything I imagined my man to be. He has sense, and no guy has ever prayed for me before—this guy genuinely prayed for me. He is a Godly person and also a business person, not a yahoo boy. Now, here’s the problem: I told him I’d think about it and get back to him. I really like him, so we were on the phone, and I asked what his genotype was. He said AS, and meanwhile, I’m AS too. We kept mute for a while, and I told him, “God has a reason for everything.” He explained that his parents were AS too, and all their children are AS except their last-born, who was SS and has already passed away. Now he says if my answer is yes, we should continue. I’ve heard you can test the genotype of a child while pregnant and abort if it’s SS. I told him I’ve seen a movie like that and once Googled it, but that’s for people willing to go through the stress.
He says if my answer is yes, he’s not backing out, and we might even get married this year. He said I’m everything he’s ever wanted in a lady, just as he is to me. Doctors in the house, over to you. Is it possible to test a child’s genotype while pregnant? If yes, how much does it cost? I already love this guy. Mind you, I’m a spiritual person. I already saw this whole thing in my dream—he insisted we move ahead, but I didn’t reply in my dream. (It wasn’t him I saw, but I knew it was him when the whole thing surfaced.) It’s very hard to find love these days. I’ve found one, and genotype is the issue. Doctors, please come to my aid. I’ll be in the comment section.
