I just found out that my boyfriend cheated on me. I was at his place and decided to go through his phone. Lo and behold, this guy was seeing another woman and had sex with her. I even saw a video he made. He has been apologizing since. He reported himself to his friend and his mom. I’m just finding it hard to believe that he’s sorry because I really trusted him. When I asked him why he did it, he gave excuses that it was an emotional fling and that he was scared I would leave him because I was “too good to be true.” He said he has been seeing a therapist because of terrible past relationship experiences. He thought he had healed but admitted he was st#pid for letting his insecurities get ahead of him. Should I give him this one chance and accept his apology?
