I was into Yahoo and was okay. I was not the extravagant type, I just wanted to make money because of the situation of the country (nobody should judge me, please). When I was in 300 level, I met this decent, beautiful girl, and she said I should stop Yahoo if I wanted to date her. She convinced me that there were other legitimate, profitable skills I could learn. Still, I was planning on making enough money to travel out of the country after school. I own a small barbing salon too. So, I actually stopped Yahoo because I loved this girl and was planning a better future with her.
We started dating, and I was loyal, and she was a good girl too, and I provided comfort as available balance still dey. I wasn’t even into different girls from day one, so it was not hard to be loyal, even though I got advances from girls because I’m handsome too. Because I stopped Yahoo, I wasn’t making money like before, and the salon could only bring a little money. When we went home for the session break, I noticed she wasn’t giving me attention again, she once posted a video of her clubbing, and I saw it before she deleted it. School resumed, and I knew I was done for when she came back with fixed eyelashes.
She started giving attitude and silly excuses for not picking up my calls and not wanting to see me. Long story short, she was dating another Yahoo boy in Lagos that I once worked with and was better than before, but because I stopped, he’s now very rich. And this stupid girl made me stop. When I confronted her, she turned it into a fight and left for good. I was heartbroken and almost committed suicide. I couldn’t even manage the salon at that period and lost it. It’s 4th year now, and I’m just getting back on my feet, but she’s now touring the world from one Yahoo boy to another because she’s pretty. God didn’t punish her, and karma didn’t catch up with her. Please, my guys, don’t be foolish like me and allow anybody to talk you out of doing what’s right for you to survive, na you go suffer am.
