I have some friends, we’ve been so close since we entered university and some before we entered. But during the uni days, we were all struggling as students, at the same time hustling. But one friend’s hand is up financially more than others, and not that he’s into ritual or something, but we know for sure all hands are not equal. At the same time, we all know that seeing your good old friends doing as good as you’re doing is supposed to be the best feeling, based on my own knowledge. One of our friends has even been using an iPhone 6 ever since he was robbed and his 13 Pro Max was stolen. Meanwhile, this our friend that I’m talking about just bought a house in Ikoyi around December last year, bought a Mercedes Benz in January again, and is using an iPhone 15 Pro Max and doing fine overall. I once saw his bank account balance, imagine, he had 90 million Naira plus.
My other friends and I are not seeking financial support from him because we all know everyone will be good one day but I am just concerned about him not telling and supporting us with what’s bringing the money. If it’s an update that will require some money, then why can’t he just help us and have his percentage when we start seeing our own money, instead of taking us in his car like our Uber driver? How can you be doing fine in this country while your friends are facing depression? I think that’s unfair. We love him so much, and we always turn up whenever he needs our physical appearance, but it’s not like before anymore though. You know “rich people mingle with rich people”, he only takes us as friends to catch cruise with. We love him and we never hate on him. Thanks.
