I met this guy about 9 months ago, and dating him has been amazing. He’s sincere and kind. The problem is I’ve never had sex before, but he has, and he’s been complaining about how hard it is to cope. I appreciate the fact that he communicates his feelings because I know some guys would rather just get other girls to do it with, but premarital sex is just not something I can compromise on. He complains about stomachaches—it’s so bad that he goes to the hospital at times. Sometimes I feel selfish, but I just don’t want to risk it.
Apart from the fact that we’re both Muslims, there’s the pregnancy scare and other personal reasons. He has met my family already, and he even wants us to get married as soon as possible, but I’m in my final year, and we’re waiting for me to graduate. I really hope he would just exercise more patience, and I don’t even know if the severe stomachache thing is true or if he’s just exaggerating. He’s very supportive and kind, and I don’t have any doubts about him for now. I don’t know what to do honestly.
