Guys, I want to empty my spirit and soul here. Since the day I picked the NYSC form, I’ve not had rest. I got posted to Anambra State. I don’t have accommodation; my PPA doesn’t have any. I live in the Corpers fellowship lodge with over 9 people in a room; I struggle in this heat. I go hungry to school most days. I’m surviving on the allowance as I don’t have parents, boyfriend, or family support. I wasn’t paid in December; the January allowance came late, and I had already borrowed a lot. I spent the whole money paying debts.
My next allowance for February will go into food debt again, leaving me with nothing. Awka is so expensive to live in. I don’t have support from anywhere. My PPA isn’t paying either. I’m suffering to serve Nigeria. I regret picking the form. I just want to rant this pain out. NYSC is not worth it. N33k can’t feed anyone for 31 days in this current economy, let alone buy my toiletries and transport fare to school. I wish I could relocate to another state. The government doesn’t care about us. 😭😭 I’m tired!
