Guys, I cannot count how many times I have cried in the past few weeks. The situation in the country is too unbearable! Pesin go hold N1k like this, and you wouldn’t even know what you used the money for; it just disappears! How do I cope, fr? How do we, as Nigerians, cope? Pesin go try save money to learn how to earn in dollars, but before you know it, you’ve used the money to eat and drink. Last night, I went out to buy mama put rice for my sister and me (we’re both students). I left the house with about N3k, spent N200 on transport to go, and bought the food for about N1700. When I was about to pay, I noticed that N1k was missing from the money in my hand! Egbami o Jesu!
So, I didn’t have transport to go back, I just had to pay because they had already packaged everything. I couldn’t call my sis because her phone was charging elsewhere. Luckily, my friend was at my house, and I was legit panicking and crying in public as I called her. She came to my rescue. I entered a bike and stopped at my gate, and she paid! I am so grateful to her, honestly, because there was nothing, nothing in my account. My dad had said he would send money, and that’s what I was expecting. Bruh! I don’t know what I would have done if she wasn’t around. Thank you so much, my baby.
