So there is this guy that has been in my DM on Facebook since 2017, but I ignored him and replied once in a while just on FB. So one day in 2020 I was with my boyfriend when this guy from Facebook pinged me and I replied to him, ’cause my boyfriend saw the notification and felt that he is my friend. So to show my man that it was nothing going on between me and the guy, then I opened our chat; then when the Facebook guy saw that I was online, he called me on video call for the first time, and my man said I should pick up. I picked up; he was just admiring me, and I hung up on him. Then he started requesting my number continuously, so I had to stop posting on FB. So in 2022, this my FB friend posted a picture of him in my distant older cousin’s house. I was curious, so I had to ping him for the first time to ask where he was from, but I finally found out that my cousin is his uncle. After the reply, I didn’t say a word to him again. So last year, in February, I went for NYSC in a state I never wished for and haven’t been to all my life. I tried both in-camp and out-camp relocation, but they denied approval and I was left with no option but to stay back.
So in June, I went to a supermarket close to my house with my female friend, and as we were stepping out I saw this my FB guy physical for the first time since 2017. I had to hide and left immediately, but when I got home I pinged him again to ask if he was the one I saw; he said yes, that he could swear that he saw me today but felt it was just his imagination or he saw my ghost, ’cause we saw each other in a different state and I refused to see him or give him my number all this while. So back to my story, at that point the guy was just on my neck, saying that he wants to see me even for lunch or drinks, but I didn’t reply to him. So in October, I decided to give him my second line; he called me immediately and asked for lunch, which I went to with my friend, and he bought us food and we left. He asked to see me the next day and I also went with that my friend again. He bought us food and stuffs too, but I saw a ring on his finger. So on our third outing, I went alone, ’cause I needed to ask him lots of questions, and he accepted that he is married but loves me and has known me before he got married, but I wasn’t giving him a chance.
So that day, I left and blocked him on WhatsApp. The next day I got a call from one number and it was him asking why I blocked him and that I was hurting him so bad. He then asked to see me for better explanations, but I refused, and this guy went as far as going to my NYSC local government to ask about me. Luckily, he met our CLO who is my friend. So the next day he sent me my details and said if I don’t see him, then he will come to my house. Then I accepted to see him and he came to pick me, and after explaining that he loves me and just wants me around him, that he will give me anything I want ’cause he is rich, I told him that I can’t, ’cause he is married. Omoh, this guy started crying and explained that his wife got pregnant for him and he was left with no option but to marry her when she refused to remove the baby and has gone to tell his family too. So I felt for him and then promised him that I will try my best to be there for him, and he became happy and gave me thousands to use and to make my hair. Since then, we started being friends, and I started liking him, ’cause he is so kind, caring, and an intentional man, ’cause he gifts me and sends me money.
So one faithful day, I went to his house to pay him a surprise visit, ’cause he is not staying with his wife. He was so happy to see me and I made food for him, and after the meal it was getting late I had to go, but we kissed before I left and I promised to come see him again before I travel back to our state, ’cause we are from the same state. So 2 days before I left, I visited him again and he gave me transport fare and some gift items, and we kissed with a little romance, and I left. But since the whole thing, I noticed that I am beginning to love him and care about him even more than my man (my man isn’t poor too). He finally came back to the state and we went out, where he was asking me to tell him that I love him and for some sort of assurance. At this point I don’t know what to do anymore, ’cause I’m beginning to love him a lot and also getting s€xually attracted to him too, but my spirit isn’t at rest ’cause he is married. My question is, what do I do? Stay away from him or continue with the flow? I will be at the comment section.
