My wife is a surgeon in the US. For those not familiar, they always have conferences, and most times, the hospital or clinic will pay for the trip. They will also pay for a plus one. I normally go as her plus one. It is always so much fun. These conferences are the real work hard and play harder. After seminars end, it is food and drinking galore. When she is at seminars or presentations, I am alone in the hotel room, and the hotels are always top-notch. Enjoyment left, right, and center.
This time around, the conference was in Miami. This girl didn’t tell me anything. She made it seem like she was traveling to see her friend. My wife took the nanny and our son as her plus one while lying to me that her friend needed extra help. I didn’t even know until I started seeing pictures from other spouses of her colleagues. The nanny too came back and was kneeling down to thank me for letting her take my place. She was just showing me so many pictures. The werey even went and found a boyfriend there.
If you see the gifts that she brought back. While I was suffering in the cold, they were enjoying the sun and vitamin D. Now, my wife came to kneel down to say sorry. I know she is laughing at me in her mind, and I can see it in her eyes too. We had s€x, sha, but it is still paining me. No more conferences until June. There is another one in our city this month, but it is a small one, and it is cold here. We won’t be in a hotel. So no enjoyment. The thing is just paining me.
Normally, I enjoy going there and just packing lip balm, and water bottles, and buying things for 50% off. My offense was that I forgot to buy cake and take out the trash for three days, and she took the Miami sun from my life. Normally, she would shout, but she just ignored me this time. It’s ok. I will let God judge her.
