Greetings everyone, I’m really sharing this incident with you guys because I’m even more traumatized than anyone in the world currently. I go work for place where I just secure recently for one nice company, very posh. On that very Monday morning (10:45 am), I say make I go shit for toilet because normally I only use my home restroom. On a normal, I no dey like put my buttocks anywhere anyhow. My people, I shit finish comot. Less than 20 minutes after I arrive my desk, I just dey hear say emergency, say person pass out for male restroom. I shock. I was wondering what happened. Dem say na the person who shit last, na the smell make the guy pass out. Na so my body cold because I was the last guy who just came out there, but not yet proven. HR quickly came to the scene and almost passed out, but they brought her asthma inhalers before emergency truck carry the both of them to hospital. Na so dem start to evacuate everyone out the building because everyone was complaining of the smell. I was just speechless and scared. They start to check camera to see who entered there last and unfortunately I was the one. My God! I felt like it was the end of my world because my workplace was full of whites. They just shout that they never witnessed something so traumatic this way. They think say na something die come decay. Na so I just dey wonder if I was really medically okay. I was sent home for a week with doctor’s appointment all paid by the company in Texas.
I have been traumatized and ashamed. I just pray that this incident doesn’t make it to the news because wtf. I submitted quit letter and my boss decided to pay me for 4 months due to the same. I’m glad I was considered, but is this normal? I’m just tired and sad.
