I recently moved into my friend’s apartment because I just got a job, and we agreed to split the rent. However, she asked if her friend could stay with us for a few months due to accommodation issues, which I didn’t mind (although her friend had stayed with her before I moved in). Currently, my friend is not around, so it’s just me and her friend at home. I’ve noticed that her friend tends to be nosy and likes to interfere in other people’s business, which I don’t appreciate since I’m a private person who prefers to keep to myself.
Recently, she did something that upset me. Last week, as I was about to sleep, she came in and told me that she had spoken to a male friend in the compound, arranging for him to give me a ride to work in the morning since he takes the same route. I thanked her, but I was concerned that she should have asked me first before making such arrangements, especially since I don’t know anyone in the compound. What can I do to address this issue and set boundaries with her?
