My Roommate Doesn’t Have Simple Courtesy

I don’t understand why some people don’t respect simple courtesy. So, on my way back from the gym, I tried ordering a ride, but my network was so bad, so I had to use a taxi home. As if God planned it, my roommate’s friend boarded the same taxi. So, we talked and all that. I was surprised we were heading in the same direction, so I asked her where she was headed and she said, “My house na.” I didn’t know, so I pretended like I forgot. We got to my house and my roommate was surprised because I’m sure she was expecting me to be back that early not to talk more about coming back with her friend. So, normally now I just gave her a look that showed I wasn’t okay with her inviting someone to the house without letting me know. I was just there and they were conversing and all that, but I didn’t really say much because I was still kind of upset about the whole situation. Her friend left and she walked her out to take a cab back home.

She came back to the room and didn’t say anything to me. I’m a kind of person that likes to air things that need to be corrected out so they don’t occur again. When I noticed that she wasn’t ready to say anything, I had to tell her I didn’t like the fact that someone was coming to the house and she couldn’t at least communicate it with me. She said she didn’t think it was necessary, so she kept it to herself. I got so pissed and asked her why she would say such because it was embarrassing when I just met her in the cab and then didn’t know we were heading in the same direction. I would have at least paid for our guest and all that. I felt st#pid. I explained everything to her and she still didn’t apologize. Well, it’s her character, she doesn’t like to apologize when she’s wronged someone. I pity her because she never jam who go change am for am. I feel like I’m tolerating her bad habits so she thinks it’s a normal thing to do.
