I am 17 years old and now in my final year at a private university. My family doesn’t like it when I go out of school to visit a guy, so I sneak out of school. But whenever she finds out, it’s always hectic, and I’ve been feeling a little bit angry and sad because this is not how I want to live my life. Sometimes I wonder if they are planning to get married to me themselves or if they plan on marrying me off. In my school, I see how people go out, dress up, take pictures, and all. I feel down, to be honest. Am I the one taking it too personally, or are they being overprotective?
