I met this guy online here on Instagram. He came to me and said he wanted something serious that would lead to marriage between us. I asked him about the distance between us, and if he could cope with it. I live in Benin City, and he stays in Lagos. He said he didn’t mind at all, coming down to see me wouldn’t be a problem. The main issue here is that he hardly communicates with me; he does share a lot of sweet reels with me. I kept on complaining that he didn’t talk to me every time. There was a day he told me that in Lagos, once you are driving and you pick up calls, your plate number would be captured. I didn’t buy that excuse at all; I don’t know if it’s true.
He apologized and said he would change, but he did the same thing again a few days later. He sent me a reel, and I immediately said no more reels because I was angry at him. The communication between us is so poor. How can you be my man, and we don’t communicate every day or share how our day was? I don’t know why he came to meet me, especially when he was the one who started the whole thing. I would call him at least twice a day, and he won’t pick up. This morning, I decided to cut him off. I unfollowed him on IG and deleted his number. I just want to have my peace of mind like I did when I was single. So, I want to know if I was overreacting.
