I am really upset with my mother, and I don’t even know how to handle this situation. Money has been really tight for us for a few years now, and my mother recently started working as a cook for a rich family. I don’t know exactly what she had been saving for, but I just knew that she had been taking some money out of her salary and keeping it in another account, untouched. Tell me why my mother called me, upset and crying, saying that she paid the money to someone who wanted to “teach” her affiliate marketing, and now she can’t reach the person anymore. I don’t even know what to do at this point.
I was so angry when she called me and told me, I nearly ended the call on her, but I just tried to keep my cool. I told her that we’d find a way to deal with it, but it’s not like there’s anything to do. The money is gone. I’m just so pissed that she got scammed in this day and time, but at the same time, I know it can happen to anybody. I’m grateful and hopeful that she has at least learned her lesson. I was also scammed a few years ago when I wanted to start a small perfume business, and I definitely learned from that!
