I have this little issue with my mom. We’re pretty close, but I noticed most times we are always having issues whenever she asks me, “When am I getting married?” I’ve got two siblings. My brother is married, and my younger sister is getting married in September. I came around to visit and talk to her about my sister’s marriage preparation. This morning, we got talking, and she left angry to her store because I have no girlfriend/spouse yet. Only for her to come back this evening and make my favorite food. I’m just curious why she does that every time we have issues—making my favorite dish, then calling me to her room to ask me the same question again: Why am I still single? For real, I’m just scared of being heartbroken again.
