There’s this man who happens to be my landlord and colleague (senior colleague) at work, but he’s in another branch, and he doesn’t stay in the house I stay. I rented the apartment from the house agent, so by the time I found out he also works with the same organization I work with, it was after a year. So when I got to realize that, I chatted him up from the office chat and introduced myself to him as I used to assist him with transactions from the head office (where I work) as he heads one of our branches. Since I’ve introduced myself to him as one of his tenants, he’s been on my neck wanting me to date him. I’m a born-again Christian and even a modest person (fashion), but he seems not to care. I’ve told him many times without numbers, but still, he won’t stop pestering me.
Whenever I even mention to him about his wife and family, he always gets angry. I’ve been trying to be so careful with my words as not to insult him or say anything that would cost me my job (as he’s just like a boss to me) or the house (his house where I’m a tenant). He calls me almost every time, but I ignore most times as he’s always inviting me to go out with him, I’ve gone out with him like 3 times now just to honor him and we’ve always been going to the restaurant. So the last time I went out with him, which made me come here for advice now, is that after we went to the restaurant that day, he drove us to a hotel. I didn’t even know until we entered as the signboard wasn’t outside, but I declined to follow him to the room. Please, I need your advice here. I don’t have money to start looking for another apartment or looking for another job.
