I met my boyfriend a couple of months back in a very complicated situation (long story), but we managed to find love with each other. We started as friends and grew to like each other more because he is a very good man and was almost exactly what I’ve been praying for in a man. He takes very good care of me, and I’m happy with him, but we have a big problem now. A month ago, I started experiencing a severe yeast infection, and I got it treated with a blood test and a lot of medication. I ran all the STD and STI tests, and I was negative for all STDs but positive for some infections, which I treated, and everything stopped. Two weeks ago, he opened up to me that he thinks he might be infected with something, but he is not fully sure.
He told me this because I started experiencing the same symptoms, but this time it was more severe and painful. So, we decided to run a blood test for him, and he was positive for Hepatitis B. I didn’t get infected because I’m vaccinated, and his viral load is low, so the doctor said. I don’t know what to do now because I don’t know if I’m positive or not since it was a month ago that I did the test, and we were intimate for a month before I went for the test. He is a really good man; he listens to me and cares so much about me. I appreciate him in my life, but I don’t know what to do. Please advise me. Thank you.
