I have a boyfriend who is caring, protective, loving, and calls me sweet names – he is the sweetest guy I’ve ever met. My problem is that I think he is a stingy man. We’ve been dating for 6 months now, and the only amount he has given me is N15k. It’s a long-distance relationship, though, he lives in another state. Before you ask me if I have given him anything before, no I haven’t. He knows I’m still struggling to feed myself and am still a student. He works and owns a very nice car and is doing well for himself.

I have never asked him for money before, the first time he gave me was out of his free will. He didn’t even gift me for my birthday, whereas my ex and friends did. I think he is rich but not a giver. My friends always use it to indirectly laugh at me, they’ll always ask me if it’s love I want to eat. I’m getting tired of it all; when I indirectly tell him I have an issue that requires money, he just diverts the talk. I’m thinking of cheating with someone who has money and then going with the flow with him.
