I have been having issues lately with my boyfriend. He’s a really busy person, which I understand, and I’m also busy too. We’re both well-to-do, and because of his busy schedule, I don’t ask for outings or disturb him about spending time together because I understand how busy he gets. The problem is, he tries to make time for us, but he cancels most of the time, even when we plan vacations. As a result, I get angry because I didn’t ask—he was the one who made the plans but forfeited them. He’s faithful and caring, and I love him, but I don’t know how to get over this. I try, but my anger gets the best of me. I don’t know if I’m overreacting or what the best way to move forward is.
