I’m really confused about my boyfriend’s behavior these days. He’s an Alfa (cleric), and we’ve been dating since 2021. Since then, he hasn’t been complaining about how I dress (it’s a long-distance relationship), though I don’t wear exposing clothes and I use a scarf. Also, the only problem is that I tie the scarf just like every normal lady would, and I’m a very big fan of trousers. I’m not a fan of skirts or gowns, though I wear them sometimes, but not every time. But I noticed, since last year, he started complaining that I’m not covering my neck, and I wear trousers.
It surprised me because this is someone who knows how I dress from the onset. This morning, I sent him a video I made on Snapchat, and what he said was that he doesn’t like the way I dress; that I dress immaturely, and I’m shocked. He said someone from his contact list asked him if I was a small girl, that he is following a small girl because I dress childish due to the way I used my scarf. Coming from someone who has never bought me a dress, this annoyed me, and I said I can’t steal just to impress him. Guys, do you think this is enough reason to be bothered? Because I still want to explore the fashion world.
