I am just 25 years old, living alone as a student and also working as a salary earner. After moving into this apartment, I heard the owner of the house was out of the country. After some months, he arrived, and we threw a party and all. To cut the long story short, he told the caretaker about me, that he likes me and wishes to marry me, even though he is still single, now at the age of 46. The caretaker called me and told me about it and I told him I would think about it. Still thinking, my landlord started sending gifts and other stuff to me and even coming to stay in the compound with us. He started making some closeness with me. After 3 months of drama, he sent me a message that he wanted to know his fate, but within the months I had studied a lot about him. He is a lawyer and a real estate consultant, he smokes, drinks, and also loves to demand his gifts given to someone he’s not gaining anything from.
But the problem right now is he told people about me and now, everyone is talking about it, even his mother who is out of the country. My neighbors do laugh at me and call me the lawyer’s wife. The last time I told him I was not interested in the relationship, he disconnected my light and even asked the caretaker to give me a quick notice to leave the apartments, thinking I would come to beg. But he came to beg later, even after a lot of threats in the compound. A male friend must not come around my place, he will be annoyed and boiling. Now I need advice, I should have left the apartment, but I have to gather up money to rent another apartment. I don’t know what to do with this man.
