My wedding is in April and my husband-to-be and his family are planning to spend close to N15m on our wedding. I have been fighting every one of his sisters, as it’s not always about the wedding but the marriage for me. I made a simple plan of N5m so we can invest or do better things with the balance. They are all now looking at me with a poverty mentality, meanwhile am just being cash conscious and I am just so scared so I don’t have to start managing after the wedding or depending on anyone.
