My husband and I came to Nigeria last November, and we left at the end of the same month. My husband met a lady in Nigeria, and I think they knew each other from secondary school. One thing led to another, and they had sex. I found out when we got back to Canada in early December. The lady told my husband that she is pregnant, and if he doesn’t come to Nigeria, she will abort it. My husband, who dislikes abortion, was being threatened. He came to me at the end of December, saying he needed to inspect his hostel project in KWASU. I already knew everything, so I told him okay. I hid his passport and resident permit since then.
We’ve been looking for it together for more than three weeks now. We haven’t found it, so he told the lady last week that he can’t come because he can’t find his passport. They fought that day, and now the lady messaged my husband, claiming she had a miscarriage, which I believe is a lie. She said she needs money for the hospital, but my husband didn’t give her any, as he thinks it’s a lie. I’ve blocked her from all media platforms on my husband’s phone, and I’ve deleted her contacts. My husband doesn’t know I know everything, and I’m not ready to release his passport.
