I am a guy. I have been in a relationship with this girl for close to 2 years. So, all of a sudden, she just started having male friends. I mean, 2 close male friends will be calling and asking about her daily activities and what she has eaten and all. Sometimes, they will call on the phone and talk for a long time, though they are not dating. But as a man, I am not comfortable with it at all because I am a guy too. They will start having conversations they are not supposed to have since they are talking day in and day out. When I questioned her, this girl was telling me that being in a relationship doesn’t mean she can’t meet new people. My question to y’all is, is what she is doing right? Because she doesn’t really see anything wrong in what she is doing. Even as a guy, I maintain boundaries with my female friends. We don’t even call at all; we only chat sometimes. Also, I am not a jealous type at all, and I know she has every right to have friends. But I am not stopping that, but I believe there should be boundaries.
