I moved in with a friend earlier this year because I’ve been dealing with financial issues, having just buried my dad. Before I moved in, I talked to her. I made sure I let her know what was going on. She was at the burial, so she knows how it drained me of everything I had. I asked if it would be okay for me to stay for a year. Within the first few months of moving in, my business failed. I wasn’t able to keep it going anymore, so I had no means of making money. I’ve tried menial jobs here and there, but it’s never enough to help me save.
The thing is, my friend’s attitude has changed towards me. I suspected that she wanted me to move out, and she confirmed my suspicions last week when she told me that she needs her space, that she knows she agreed to let me stay, but she needs her space now, and she’s not sure she can let me stay anymore. She said I have until the end of August to move out. Though her delivery was soft, it still hurts so much. This babe knows that I don’t have anywhere else to stay. My other friends have roommates and boyfriends they live with, and my mother lives far away.
That’s not even an option. I’ve been trying to plead and reason with her, but she won’t budge. I really thought I would be able to save up something by now, but I haven’t. I just ventured into something new last month, but it hasn’t fetched me enough to get a new place. Please, how do I beg her to let me stay? I have no other option. I have maintained my lane, and I know for sure that I haven’t done anything to piss her off.
