I have a female friend of about 10 years now. We have been close friends and all, but something happened recently. I asked her to help me keep some money for a job I did. I asked her for the money on Friday, only for her to say she spent it without asking me or telling me until I had to call her asking for the money. She said she knew I would call to ask for it, which is why she didn’t tell me she spent it. Spending it isn’t the issue, but the fact that she didn’t tell me before spending the money and acted like she had every right to spend it is what bothers me. What should I do? End the friendship or continue? Also, just putting this out there—every birthday of mine, she doesn’t wish me. It could be days before she remembers I had a birthday, and I always make sure to remember hers.
